Pero realmente con lo que me quedé de toda la película fue con un anuncio que pusieron al principio :P Es una campaña publicitaria de Coca-Cola que me trae a la memoria el día que descubrí que las máquinas de vending eran solo aburridos robots por dentro.

Probablemente solo mis amigos más aficionados a The Daily Show conozcan a este “experto” en casi todo, aunque últimamente se ha hecho muy popular por la campaña Get a Mac de Apple.

Mi primer encuentro con Hodgman fue en The Daily Show, donde acudió como invitado para promocionar su libro, The areas of my expertise (que todavía no he leído pero que ha sido convenientemente añadido a mi wishlist) Para referencia de los lectores, el título completo del libro es:

Merece mucho la pena ver la entrevista que Jon Stewart le hace, sobre todo la parte de los Hobo.

La campaña “Get a Mac”

Hodgman se ha hecho un hueco en el mundillo informático gracias a su participación junto a Justin Long en la campaña de Apple “Get a Mac”. Estos son los anuncios de la campaña; algunos, como Out of the Box son sencillamente geniales :D

Otras apariciones

Poco después de que se publicasen estos anuncios, John Hodgman fue invitado de nuevo a The Daily Show para hablar sobre la neutralidad en Internet, con resultados desternillantes. Es bonito ver como un tema muy serio para los informáticos es tomado en cuenta por un programa tan “respetable” :D

Y, por último, un comentario sobre el apoyo de EE.UU. a Pakistán contra la reprimenda a la India por su programa nuclear.
